Red Caboose Welcomes Jason Anderson – Executive Director

Red Caboose has a long tradition of serving Madison families by providing exceptional care for children. I am honored to join this team of dedicated professionals to continue this essential work and to serve as your Executive Director. My career has been dedicated to creating the conditions that support the social and emotional development of children through quality child care, after school programs and summer camps. Having raised two sons in Madison, I understand the peace of mind that comes with knowing my child is safe, is cared for by loving professionals, and belongs within a diverse and inclusive community of friends. As families are facing the uncertainties presented by the pandemic, it is more important than ever for us to meet the child care needs of parents, the social and emotional needs of children, and the evolving needs of young students. I am eager to connect with families and become part of Red Caboose’s quintessentially Madison story while collaborating with our staff and community partners to write the next chapter. That next chapter begins today and it begins with community support for a much needed and exciting new facility being developed in partnership with Movin’ Out, Inc., combining accessible, affordable housing with affordable, inclusive Red Caboose child care.
